Default Oxygen sensor out of wack

I own a 1992 honda prelude 2.2L,

I recently changed the oxygen sensor because of my check engine light. along with the sensor I changed from one way spark plugs to 4ways (which I ended up taking out after a friend told me I couldnt do.) so I went out and got 2 ways. along with new wires and dist. cap.

My problem started 20 miles after just changing the oxygen sensor and wires. I already had the 4ways in for a couple days. At first I thought it was the firing order. So i fixed that. and now i hear a muffled hissing grind when I manually give it gas. and when I drive it, its feels like its skipping then catches. and when I come to a stop it turns off, but it only started doing that today. yesterday I let it idle while I cleaned up and was idling clean.

please help
