Heli-coil them. When you drill the holes, use a Shop-Vac with some sort of duct-tape and 1/2" hose conglomeration to get the vac hose into the bores to suck out all the chips. 'Course if the head is on the truck, you really have to be careful about the depth of the drill to you don't dtill into anything important, like the pistons. Best of luck getting any kind of drill down there...may have to use a 90 degree drill. If not, the head has to come off, at which point you can get a shop to do the work if you don't have a milling machine or radial drill.
