Default Gum Out blows head gasket?

I have a 93 Toyota Extended Cab with a V6 with a 5 speed stick. I began to worry because for the past month or so my truck started to pulse very slightly while accelerating. So the other day I ask my mechanic about this and he tells me that I could put a whole bottle of Gum Out Fuel injection cleaner in a about 6 gallons of gasoline. He said it will just clean the injectors more. He also says I should treat the fuel every 4th tank to keep the injectors clean. I get 10 miles down the road and blow my head gasket. Not sure if I have cracked heads yet. The question is did the Gum Out cause this?
