here's the funny thing. after i cleaned then and checked the gaps, i ran them for a week. carbon on it, but no oil. so, i purchased new plugs for the heck of it, put back the old wires to see what comes up. i noticed the msd wires i bought dont really have a tight grip on the sparkplugs. i had to tighten the ends to make sure they snapped on. the stock one you can feel resistance and hear them snap on tight. going to check after a week. will let you know the outcome. thanks. Ralph
