Default 2004 toyota echo HELP!!!!

hello to all,

I have a 2004 toyota echo with 150,00km's
Recently i was driving and when i got to the top of a bridge (small elevation)
i lost power meaning when i pressed the gas to continue accleratin g the was nothing the car was running stilll. I immediatly turn the car off (standard tranny) and coasted down the bridge at the bottom i attemped to start the car and she started i pressed the gas and everything seemed to be okay... km or so down the hwy again lost any ability to acclerate so i again turned the car off and coasted to a safe spot to pull over. i tried to start it again about 5 minutes later and couldnt get it to turn over. call caa and had it towed.
with that info does anyone have comments or suggestions to maybe help me in my trouble shooting this issue? Thanks in advance

Ryan

Lack of acceleration/power could be a fuel issue? Your water guage and stuff looked normal? No idiot lights?

when you say it wouldn't turn over, are you saying the engine has seized up?
