Default 3.5L engine knock

I have notice that my car is starting to knock. I have changed the oil every 2500 - 3000 miles. I use 5w30 full synthetic. Its not buring any oil. Could it be the oil I am using.

Does this sound like a preignition type knock, a valvetrain knock or a lower end knock?

When I start it up, it starts, and when I press the gas

The camshaft position actuator may make a slight tapping noise upon cold startup. This is normal for the first 3-4 minutes of cold engine operation. It just because the viscosity of the oil hasn't warmed up. 5w-30 synthetic or regular is what manufacture does recommend. I doubt its the oil. Check to make sure you are using the correct filter. AC Delco PF61. It has an anti-drainback feature.
