Question oil leak at oil plug in 2000 e-320 after I changed oil

I have an leak at the oil plug of my e-320. I never had an issue since I bought it used about a year ago but after I changed the oil the old fashion way instead of vacume method it started to leak. Is this common or is there some sort of Tourqe Setting I should hit whne tightening the oil plug ?

As long as one replaces the crushable copper O-ring, all should be well.

Default Drain Plug

I agree. The drain plug gasket needs to be changed with every oil change. Usually, the new oil filter is packaged with one. If you didn't replace the filter this time, I would recommend that you start doing so every time. The filter is a paper element that is constantly exposed to heat and oil pressure and requires a special socket to remove. Be sure to replace each o-ring, also packaged with the filter, everytime to avoid any other leaks. Good luck.
