Default Dout with the Ignition Coil

Hi, Somebody know what is the voltage use by the Ignition Coil of a Nissan Sentra 93 Japan (Engine GA14), with the tester I Read 5-6v continuos, and I dont know if it have to be 12v or if is Continuos or variable.

When the Engine is Off the cables polaritys are +/- and when is On they change -/+ (Inverse) is that normal or something wrong with my cables?

My Problems is; some times when I try to Start Engine dont start and the light (Dont know how to say it in english) of the cables is too weak.
