Default help!!!

I have a 2002 nissan sentra xe. From the day I bought this car it did not have alot of guts, but over the last 2years it has slowly been getting worse. It had about 5 different recalls right of the bat. 1 of the recalls was the cam/crank shaft sensors so I had them replaced then about a year ago the check engine light came on and the computer said to replace the sensor again, so I did. I also changed the VTS. The check engine light came right back on. Now the car bogges down when you step on the gas. YOu can have your foot flat on the ground and the engine will rev but the car won't go any where then just before 40km the engine decides that its not going to go any faster so you have take your foot of the gas and slowly put it back on - please note this is really dangerous on a busy road- I have become acustomed to driving my car like a manual - the gas is like the clutch-. In the past 2 weeks it has become really dangerous and is starting to sputter and stall when I slow down. the car starts up right away but it is getting to dangerous. I see a rearend fender bender in my future. if YOu have any ideas please let me know. I was planning on buying another car at the end of the year and so do I do not want to put a whole lot of money into diagnostic or repaires.
